Green and Low‑Carbon Supplier: refers to an organization that adopts green, eco‑friendly, energy‑saving, clean and low‑carbon raw materials, processes, energy sources, facilities, remanufacturing and other approaches throughout its whole activities including production, design, sales, service and daily operations. It takes carbon‑reduction measures in production processes, cuts carbon emissions by utilizing various green energy sources, achieves carbon neutrality via carbon trading and fulfills the dual‑carbon goals. Through cooperation with upstream and downstream partners, it promotes the integrated green and low‑carbon development of the whole industrial chain so as to realize the organization’s green and sustainable development.

Green and Low‑Carbon Supplier Evaluation assesses an organization’s carbon management, emissions performance as well as its progress toward carbon peaking and carbon neutrality across production, service and operational processes. It serves as a trust‑transfer instrument for green procurement, proof of dual‑carbon responsibility fulfillment, and an essential starting point for green and sustainable development of the organization.

Green and Low‑Carbon Supplier Evaluation covers three grades: Grade A, Grade AA and Grade AAA; Grade AAA represents the highest level.

• Grade A (Responsible Enterprise) — Has disclosed organization‑level greenhouse‑gas emissions and plans to carry out carbon‑reduction initiatives;

• Grade AA (Accountable Enterprise) — Has completed organization‑level greenhouse‑gas disclosure, established, implemented and improved the carbon asset management system, and put into effect action plans for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality;

• Grade AAA (Fully‑responsible Enterprise) — Has completed organization‑level greenhouse‑gas disclosure, established, implemented and improved the carbon asset management system, formulated and implemented action plans for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and achieved carbon neutrality through various means.
